Set the ordering window once

Under the form’s Restrictions settings, enter only a start and end time, without dates. Flexible Form Schedules opens it from 9:00 to 18:00 every day and shows your closed message outside that window.

Offer delivery days you can cover

Create a Delivery day service in Bookings with a Full Day block. Set its available weekdays, add holiday exceptions, and choose the lead time your team needs. Add its Service and Booking Time fields so customers can choose an available day.

Set the service’s Capacity to the number of orders you can fulfil in one day, with each order creating one booking. Enable Show spots left on the Booking Time field so customers can see the remaining capacity before choosing a date.

Install Flexible Form Schedules free through Spellbook and write the form-expired message shown outside the ordering window.
A Bookings service with a Full Day block, available weekdays, holiday exceptions, lead time and a daily Capacity. Count each order as one booking, rather than using the number of items as the booking quantity.

What does a visitor see outside the ordering window?

The form-expired message replaces the form. Say when ordering opens again. This gate is separate from Bookings availability, which determines the delivery days customers can choose while the form is open.

Is the capacity per day, and can visitors see what is left?

Yes. With a Full Day block, the service’s Capacity limits separate bookings for each day. Keep each order to one booking and turn on Show spots left in the Booking Time field to display the remaining capacity. Item quantities are separate from the number of orders the day can take.

Can the ordering hours be different on different weekdays?

Flexible Form Schedules supports one daily window or one continuous weekly span. Bookings can vary delivery availability by weekday, but it does not give the form a different opening window for each weekday.

Does the original article use Bookings?

No. The linked article explains the recurring form schedule. This recipe extends that setup with Bookings for delivery-day selection, lead time and capacity. It replaces the separate Limit Dates and Limit Submissions setup for that part of the job.
