Set up the bookable service or person.

Configure the service, resources, and normal availability in GP Bookings. Open Calendar Sync on the service or resource whose calendar you want to connect.

Connect both directions.

Choose Add Calendar, authorize the Google account, and select its calendar. Set Sync Mode to Send Bookings & Block Availability.

Keep booking changes in Bookings.

New website bookings are sent to Google Calendar, and imported busy calendar events become unavailability windows. Make edits or cancellations to website bookings in GP Bookings so the corresponding calendar events follow.

Are changes instant in both directions?

No. GP Bookings sends its changes to Google Calendar immediately through the Connection, but imports from Google Calendar run hourly by default. The import frequency can be changed with the documented filter.

Can I move a website booking by dragging it in Google Calendar?

No. Calendar edits do not rewrite GP Bookings booking records. Change a website booking in GP Bookings; external calendar events are imported as busy time.

Can I use Apple Calendar or Outlook?

GP Bookings also supports ICS feeds. Set up import and export separately, and expect delays based on each application’s refresh interval; the direct Google Calendar Connection is the setup shown here.
