Clay and I had a vision over a year ago.

A new suite of premium plugins with the singular focus of creating deep integrations between Gravity Forms and all of our customers’ favorite services.

The name came to us in an instant: Gravity Connect.

But ideas are cheap. We had no illusion that this would be easy. In fact, Gravity Connect has proven to be the biggest project, the most epic questline, in the history of Gravity Wiz.

The result, though, is worth every broken wand, burnt broomstick, and cracked cauldron.

Let me tell you about this incredible new suite and the launch discount we’re offering for a limited time.

Gravity Connect: The Suite

Gravity Connect is dedicated to deep integrations (i.e. “connections”) between Gravity Forms and top-tier services. Each connection is installed as an individual plugin, similar to Gravity Perks, ensuring your site stays fast and efficient by only running the connections you need.

Gravity Connect is launching with three epic connections:

• GC Google Sheets (previously GP Google Sheets)
  Automatically send and sync Gravity Forms data with Google Sheets — unlock new possibilities for your data.

  Seamlessly integrate OpenAI with Gravity Forms — harness the power of AI to generate insights, automate tasks, and unlock a world of possibilities for your forms and data.

Built atop our lightweight and efficient Gravity Connect Framework, each connection comes pre-optimized for performance and with loads of features.

We’ll be introducing each connection in a dedicated blog post over the following weeks.

For now, here are a collection of answers to the most common questions we expect you’ll have. Don’t be shy about asking more questions in the comments below.

How does Gravity Connect work?

Gravity Connect is a lot like Gravity Perks. It’s a suite of plugins. Your Gravity Connect license gives you access to plugins in the suite, up to your license limit. You can install these plugins on as many sites as your license supports.

Unlike Gravity Perks, each Connection is downloaded and installed individually, rather than through a platform plugin. With Gravity Connect, the “platform” is built into each plugin. This will change in the future but that’s a tale for another time. 😉

Will more plugins be added to the Gravity Connect suite?

Yes! New connections are always in the works. We’ll be looking to you, our customers, to help us decide what to work on next.

Isn’t there a perk for Google Sheets?

Well, there was a perk for Google Sheets. It’s moved from Gravity Perks into Gravity Connect. If you’re a Gravity Perks customer who has been using GP Google Sheets, don’t worry! You will have access to its replacement, GC Google Sheets.

We cover this change in detail here.

Why aren’t these plugins part of Gravity Perks?

Our vision for Gravity Perks has evolved over the years. We started with simple features, then we forged ahead with more advanced features, and then, with GP Google Sheets, we started exploring a different type of plugin altogether: service integrations.

We’ve learned a lot from GP Google Sheets. The key takeaway? Integration plugins require far more work to develop and quite a bit more effort to support.

There were so many other integrations we wanted to build but the feature-focused Gravity Perks suite was simply not a sustainable home for them.

Thus, Gravity Connect was born. A suite dedicated to Gravity Forms integration plugins, each built on a lightweight but feature-rich framework we’ve been developing for the last 6 months. The best part is that this is good news for Gravity Perks too!

How does this impact Gravity Perks?

For the better! A new product suite means new revenue and new revenue means we can dedicate new resources towards Gravity Connect – and – free up existing resources to make Gravity Perks shine even brighter.

If you follow our weekly updates, you’ll note we already do a pretty good job of that, but there’s so much more we can do!
