A batch of coupons, ready for your next campaign.

The codes exist as Gravity Forms coupons, with nothing typed by hand and no duplicate codes.

A good fit for
Teams running promotions and rewards through a Gravity Forms checkout.

  1. 1

    Build the generator form

A Unique ID field makes the codes, a Paragraph field set to administrative holds the batch, and one visible field names the campaign.

What you’ll need.

Start with Gravity Forms. Add the capabilities this solution needs, then make the experience your own.

Taking it further

Add these optional plugins when your project calls for more.

Before you start

  • The official Coupons Add-On and an admin-only generator form with a Unique ID field and an administrative Paragraph field to hold the batch.
  • The free Generate Multiple Unique IDs and Create Coupons snippets, configured with the count, discount amount, type and coupon limits.
  • Test a small batch before increasing the count; execution time depends on your hosting.

A plan covers how many of our plugins you run at once, and on how many sites. Here is what this one needs.

Required

  • GP Unique IDPerks

Optional

Gravity Perks Basic $59 /year

Covers this on one site. More sites need Advanced or Pro.

Gravity Perks Advanced $169 /year Taking the optional perk too makes it 2 in all, which needs Advanced.

How many codes can one submission make?

The tutorial reports generating ten thousand in one test. That is not a guarantee for every host: start with a smaller run and use batches your hosting can finish.

Where can these coupons be redeemed?

This recipe creates coupons for the official Gravity Forms Coupons Add-On. Add its Coupon field to the checkout form and configure the coupon’s eligible forms, discount and usage limits.

How do the codes reach customers?

The batch lands on one entry. Export the codes for your campaign’s delivery process. For a code created and delivered with each signup instead, use the discount codes solution.

Can we print scannable coupons?

GP QR Code can encode an individual coupon code. Give each QR its own code rather than encoding the whole batch. Enable QR Code Scanner on the Gravity Forms checkout’s Coupon field so scanning fills that field; the coupon’s configured limits still control whether the discount applies.
