Do profiles need to become WordPress posts?
No. This version displays Gravity Forms entries directly with Entry Blocks, so each profile can stay in the form’s entry data.
Can members update their profiles?
Yes, through a separate edit view restricted to the signed-in owner. If changes need another review, configure that review process rather than assuming an edit will unpublish the listing.
What keeps private details out of the directory?
The query controls which entries appear, and the block layout controls which fields you publish. Use explicit public fields instead of an all-fields display when entries also contain private information.
