GP Nested Forms
Splits the survey into sections respondents complete in any order, instead of one form thirty questions long.
Explore GP Nested FormsA documentation community asked its members what they earn. Thirty questions became seven sections, in any order, and none of them asks who is answering.
Finish them in any order.
Illustrative experience
The finished experience
The community got numbers good enough to negotiate against — one member used the published results to win a 30% raise — and the same form has run since with barely a change.
A good fit for
Communities surveying their own members about pay, or anything else sensitive.
A short intro form asks employee or contractor and passes that answer into the survey.
GP Easy Passthrough
Each section is a form of its own, so respondents answer the parts that apply in any order.
GP Nested Forms
A free snippet keeps the suggestions to cities and hides the street and postcode inputs.
GP Address Autocomplete
The salary is copied into a confirmation field to read back and tick before it is saved.

It avoids collecting direct identifiers such as a name or email, and the location stops at the city. Disable IP storage and review other entry metadata, server logs, analytics and exports before describing the results as anonymous. Rare combinations of salary, location and demographics may still identify someone; review and aggregate results before publishing them.
Address suggestions send location requests to Google’s Places API using your key. Display the required Google terms and privacy links. Separately review any spreadsheet or analytics exports you enable; GC Google Sheets sends the fields you map to the connected sheet.
Thirty questions with two branches in one form was the maze this build replaced. As seven sections, respondents open the ones that apply to them in whichever order they like; the community’s own verdict was “choose your own adventure”.
