GWW 260: The Hall of Prophecies
Top product picks, Rich Text HTML Fields, Image Choices for Nested Forms in Gravity PDF, and a sneak peak into Q2.

Greetings, wizards!
I’ve been wandering the Hall of Prophecies these past few weeks (ya know, in the Department of Mysteries) and I can confidently say Q2 is going to be absolutely magical.
Gravity Perks will be getting two new perks (one of which you already know about), Gravity Connect will be making a very eventful connection, and there’s a very secret spell we can’t wait to add to your spellbook.
Get excited (we already are!) and then carry that energy into the rest of this week’s newsletter.
Top Picks: Product Updates
Here are a few standout updates from our product suites this week.
GP Copy Cat: You can now conditionally copy with Drop Down fields. A conditional copy will only copy if a specific value (based on the choice index) is selected. Learn more.
GP Nested Forms: This new filter allows you to customize how child entries are sorted in the Nested Entries table. Want to sort by a field value? There’s a snippet for that.

GC Google Sheets: We’ve made accepting user-entered values more secure by automatically blocking formulas. If you actually want to allow user-entered formulas, there’s a filter for that.

Spotlight: Hidden Fields’ Hidden Magic with Populate Anything

Have you heard of Occam’s Razor, wizard? It’s the idea that the simplest solution is, usually, the best. Becky Caneday and our support wizards put that wisdom to work when she needed to get coupons from her client’s mobile app to a lead magnet form while ensuring that each prospect received a unique coupon. Gravity Forms wasn’t just her form builder—it was her database, too. All she needed was hidden fields, a swiss-army-plugin (Populate Anything), and a spellbinding snippet.
Snippet Update: Rich Text HTML Fields
Ever wanted to use a Rich Text Editor when entering markup into your Gravity Forms HTML fields? This snippet does just that! Check out this oldie demo video that still holds up:
This week we resolve a long-standing todo by adding support for switching between rich and plain text. Yass! Maximum HTML field flexibility.
Would you like to see us invest more into this snippet? Maybe release it as a free plugin? Just reply to this email and let us know! Then…

The Gravity PDF team are back at it again with some real community love. The Gravity PDF Core Booster plugin now supports displaying image choices used in GP Nested Forms.

How pretty is that!?
