Introducing Gravity Connect: Drip

GC Drip gets your leads from form to funnel: Gravity Forms captures, Drip nurtures, and your marketing runs like magic.

I don’t know about you, wizard—but we’ve been huge on email marketing.

Our fav tool is called Drip: a powerful, easy-to-use email marketing platform, where you can harness data-driven insights to craft highly personalized campaigns that are to die for. So much so it’s what we use here, internally!

Years ago, our marketing lead (Cole) had a Drip x Gravity Forms tool made for him by our CTO (Clay). Being able to send users right from our website forms to Drip and enroll them in workflows based on their interests has been a game changer.

It was this idea that served as a very early blueprint for this dripped-up Connection we’re sharing with you today. 💧

Introducing Gravity Connect: Drip

GC Drip integrates Gravity Forms directly with Drip, allowing you to add new people, manage them (workflows, tags, personal details), and record custom events directly from Gravity Forms.

Drip is its own magical phenomenon: it works like a command center for your email marketing, letting you run and automate multi-step email campaigns, segment your contacts by their activity, and integrate website insights to drive smarter, more personalized messaging. It also offers dynamic email templates and countless integrations for further connectivity with eCommerce, advertising, support platforms and everything in between.

We couldn’t possibly fit everything you can do with Drip. The list gets even longer with a full-fledged connection between Drip and Gravity Forms, but here’s our humble attempt. 😄

People Pleaser

…But the good kind. Keep track of people’s information by sending it directly from Gravity Forms to Drip. Map form fields, workflows, and tags to take advantage of Drip’s rich contact profiles—you’ll be well on your way to hyper-personalized communication in no time.

For example, when a visitor fills out a form to download a resource or sign up for a newsletter, GC Drip can:

  • Automatically add them to your Drip contacts.
  • Apply tags such as “interested-in-this-product” or “event attendee”.
  • Add them directly to the appropriate workflow.

Record-Setter

You can segment people further, based on their individual actions, literally! Record events like “Downloaded wizarding guide,” “attended workshop,”  or “Abandoned cart” to keep a detailed historical record on the activity of each one of your contacts. Of course, you can trigger subsequent workflows or other automations based on that behavior too. 😎

Audience Whisperer

Want to take your segmentation even further? Combine Drip with Gravity Forms conditional logic for enhanced behavior-based actions.

Using conditional logic, your form adapts based on user responses—for example, showing different questions depending on a user’s interest. When a respondent selects a particular option, the form records a custom event in Drip, automatically enrolling them in a targeted workflow. The result? Timely and relevant campaigns aligning with each user’s interests.

With great power comes great responsibility. You’ll be happy to know Drip also comes with its own analytics and reporting, giving you the tools you need to measure success and refine your campaigns.

    That’s awesome and I’m really looking forward to trying it out, especially because I know the original version of the trip and Dave already helped me with a customization back then. And now a new version? I’m very excited to see how it works and is usable. Greetings from Stefan
