Even before we released a solution for connecting Gravity Forms with Google Sheets, you’ve been ringing the bell for Airtable. We’ve heard about how you’re using Airtable to collect leads, manage projects, track events, and so much more.

Populate Anything: Multiple Choice + Image Choice Fields

Populate Anything now supports Gravity Forms 2.9’s new Multiple Choice and Image Choice fields. This means you can populate these fields with posts, users, taxonomies, terms, entries, databases… ya know, pretty much anything!

I’m particularly excited about the integration with the Image Choice field. The only requirement for populating image choices is that the image must be loaded into the WordPress Media Library.

Here’s a sweet little demonstration of this new functionality in action. 🍿

Noteworthy Updates

• GC OpenAI now supports generating audio from text entered in Paragraph Text fields. This was previously limited to Single Line Text fields.
  • Note: There is a 4096 character limit on text-to-speech requests so we recommend using the Paragraph field’s “Maximum Characters” setting to enforce this limit.
• GC Notion will now “upsert” edited entries in cases where the original entry would not trigger a Notion feed due to the configured conditional logic.
  • Related: GC Notion will also now evaluate feed conditional logic when editing and deleting entries.
• GP Limit Checkboxes has been disabled on Multiple Choice and Image Choice fields, deferring to their built-in selection limit handling.
  • Question: Would you like us to revisit the ability to span limits across fields of these types in the future?

Updated: Display Captured Dates in Any Format

Capture a date in any GF-supported format and then display it in any format anywhere merge tags are supported (like confirmations, notifications, entry blocks, etc).

• Fixed issue where conditional logic would not evaluate correctly if minute inputs only contained a 0 rather than 00.

• Added gpeb_user_filter_condition  PHP filter hook.

GP Limit Checkboxes (v1.3.15)

• Updated “Limit number of checked checkboxes” setting to not show if the current field is a Multi Choice or Image Choice field. These fields have built-in limit handling.

GP Nested Forms (v1.1.69)

• Fixed potential PHP warning if a Nested Form field is added to a form and the child form is not specified in the field settings.

GP Populate Anything (v2.1.15)

• Added support for the Multiple Choice field added in Gravity Forms 2.9.
• Added support for populating images dynamically in the Image Choice field added in Gravity Forms 2.9.
• Fixed Live Merge Tags not populating into HTML fields on multi-page forms when resuming with a Save & Continue token.

GP Post Content Merge Tags (v1.3.17)

• Improved performance of Block Editor integration.
• Refactored logic for replacing merge tags in pages with blocks. Replacement is now done as early as possible like it did in version 1.3.15 and prior. This will reduce conflicts with more complex blocks.

GC Airtable (1.0-beta-1.0)

GC Google Sheets (v1.3.11)

• Added additional checks on cached PHP objects to avoid potential errors with unserializing them.
• Fixed issue where edits would fail with certain feed column mappings.

GC Notion (1.0-beta-1.8)

• Added upsert functionality when editing entries so that entries that previously did not meet a feed condition will get upserted into the connected Notion database.
• Updated Gravity Connect dependency in order to enable feed conditional logic checks when editing and deleting entries.
• Removed unused script enqueue members and methods.
• Removed unused code.

GC OpenAI (1.0-beta-2.3)

• Added support for using Paragraph Text fields as the “Field to generate audio from” in “Audio (Text-to-speech)” feeds.
• Added gcoai_feed_messages PHP filter hook.
• Fixed issue where Stream fields using the Merge Tag Value Change trigger would show “Loading…” on initial load rather than “Waiting for input…”
• Fixed issue where using multiple Stream fields with “Merge Tag Value” as the trigger method would result in only the last Stream field populating.
• Fixed a PHP recursion issue if using multiple feeds with conditional logic.
