Snippet: Pass Field Values to Popup Form

If you haven’t taken GP Popups for a spin, here’s your sign. We had a customer who wanted to pass field values from Form A to Form B which was inside a popup.

Supreme Sorcerer Seabass (muggles know him as Sebastian) whipped up an absolutely incredible video demonstrating this snippet in action. Seriously. Watch it. 😂

GP Bookings (1.0-beta-1.4)

• Fixed an issue where Booking Time field values on entry detail pages showed shifted times for non-UTC site timezones.
• Fixed an issue where merge tags were blank in Booking Created notifications.

GP Copy Cat (v1.4.95)

• Fixed infinite recurssions when conditional logic triggers repeated copy operations to target fields.

GP Nested Forms (v1.2.21)

• Fixed an issue where Advanced Phone Field validation could fail on child entries when a {Parent} merge tag resolved to an empty value.
• Fixed a potential fatal error when used in conjunction with GravityRevisions.
• Fixed an issue where the modal did not become scrollable after GP Populate Anything live merge tags expanded field content.

GP Populate Anything (v2.1.59)

• Improved security of how HTML is handled in Live Merge Tags. Instead of running through wp_kses_post, wp_kses is used with a default of no allowed tags. The old behavior will remain in place for existing Populate Anything installations for backwards compatibility. We recommend adding gppa_use_permissive_lmt_sanitization via add_filter( 'gppa_use_permissive_lmt_sanitization', '__return_false' ); to switch to the stricter HTML stripping. You may configure allowed tags and attributes with gppa_lmt_kses_allowed_html.
• Fixed an issue with Live Merge Tags on conditionally hidden phone fields.
• Fixed an issue where Live Merge Tags could potentially cause a fatal error when checking address fields on GravityView.

• Added gpp_popup_config filter for runtime popup configuration.
• Added iframe cleanup to remove third-party scripts from popup iframes. Prevents third-party plugins like analytics trackers and marketing tools from injecting unwanted scripts into popup iframes. Added gpp_iframe_hook_cleaner_settings filter for customizing cleanup behavior.
• Fixed standard popups appearing full-screen on mobile devices.
• Removed duplicate dequeue_unnecessary_assets() from Iframe_Helpers
