Introducing Gravity Forms Form Notices

Form Notices lets you add smart, scheduled messages directly to your Gravity Forms — no code, no annual reminders, no “oops, we forgot to update that.”

Today we’re releasing a new free plugin for Gravity Forms: Gravity Forms Form Notices.

Form Notices lets you display scheduled messages above your Gravity Forms based on date ranges.

It’s perfect for:

  • Office closings and holiday hours
  • Limited-time promotions and sales
  • Event announcements and deadlines
  • Maintenance windows and service updates
  • Seasonal messages and friendly reminders

If it’s time-sensitive and tied to a form, Form Notices makes sure your users see it at exactly the right moment.

What makes Form Notices especially handy

Flexible, human-friendly scheduling

Use specific dates, recurring dates (like holidays), or even natural language like “Last Thursday of November.” No mental gymnastics required.

Built-in advance notice

Give users a heads-up before a closure or deadline by displaying notices days (or weeks) in advance — automatically.

Smart, self-updating messages

Date merge tags keep your notices accurate year after year without needing manual edits.

Clean forms, organized backend

Each notice lives in its own feed, so your form editor stays clutter-free while your announcements stay easy to manage.

Easy to style, easy to love

Form Notices comes with tasty default styles so you can hit the ground running but it also goes out of its way not to get in your way. Disable default styles with a single click and target specific notices by feed name or ID.

Why we built Form Notices

We built Form Notices for ourselves.

Every year, we would update an old snippet on our Gravity Wiz support form with new holiday dates and messages. It worked… but it was manual, error-prone, and easy to forget.

So we fixed it properly.

Form Notices is exactly what we’ve wanted on our own support form — and we’re genuinely excited to put it to work and finally retire that old snippet for good.

🚫 No more snippets.
🚫 No more annual edits.
✅ Just notices your customers notice — and you don’t have to.

Cool plugin! The only pain point not currently solved is when you need to display and update the same notice across many forms. The ability to select additional forms when creating a notice and/or adding a global notice for all forms (with optional form exclusions) would round this out nicely.

      Hi Jake,

We’re glad you like GF Form Notices! That’s a great suggestion, I’m going to pass this on to our product manager to get it added to our feature requests tracker. 😁

      Best,

    Great add-on!

Can we use “Form Notices” as a standalone shortcode and insert it into any page location? (i.e., display the notice without the form below)

    Thank you!

      Hi there,

It’s not currently possible to use Form Notices as a standalone shortcode, but I will pass this on to our product manager so we can add this to our feature requests tracker.

      Best,
