Gravity Wiz Weekly #110
More snippets than you can shake a wand at and charms for all that ails you.
Greetings, wizards. 🙂
We’ve added/migrated over two dozen snippets into the Snippet Library in the last two weeks. There’s never been a better time to start exploring our vast library of Gravity Forms spells. I bet you’ll be surprised with how much a little code magic can do. 🧙🏻♂️
In other news, we’ve made some helpful improvements to a few of our free resources like our Gravity Forms Cache Buster plugin, our guide to editing entries on the frontend, and our how-to for updating posts with Gravity Forms. Learn more in the Resources section below.
Of course, the Gravity Perks suite also received some love this week. GF Price Range, which lets you set a minimum and maximum range for User Defined Price product fields, received some polish and its first bug fix in quite some time. Everyone’s favorite perk, Populate Anything, was charmed with a number of significant bug fixes and an improvement to how fields were reloaded via AJAX. Lots more in the Gravity Perks section below.
That’s all for now, my fine wizard friends. Until next week. ⚡️

Cache Busting with Gravity Forms
A common solution to avoid caching issues with Gravity Forms is to exclude any page that contains a form from the cache. The issue is that you lose all the performance benefits from caching on those pages. With our Cache Buster, you can leave your cache intact and the plugin will handle making sure only the form markup is fetched fresh from the server.
This week we fixed a compatibility issue with Populate Anything. Now you can bust any cache and use the power of Populate Anything to generate truly dynamic forms.
Edit Gravity Forms Entries on the Front End
Looking for the easiest way to let users edit a Gravity Forms entry on the frontend? Our Edit Entries snippet was just migrated into our growing Snippet Library. This week we added support for editing Partial Entries.
How to Update Posts with Gravity Forms
What started as a simple way to update your basic WordPress post properties continues to develop into an increasingly robust solution. This week we added support for updating the post author. What should we add support for next?
