Sure, I miss the chaos of a house full of my miniature clones, but I always look forward to getting a little extra time in the workshop in September.

The Notion Connection

You’ve heard all about Gravity Connect. Now it’s time to tell you a bit about the products within this world-binding suite. First up? Notion!

The Notion Connection sends and syncs Gravity Forms data directly with Notion, enabling you to seamlessly organize and incorporate your data into your workflows.

Notion is like legos for software. It lets you build whatever organizational system you need for your business – whether that’s managing incoming leads, kicking off new projects, or collecting survey results.

With the Notion Connection, those leads, projects, and survey results can be sourced directly from your Gravity Forms submissions in real time. Map your entry data and generate new Notion pages on submission, or update existing Notion pages when their associated entry is updated. Powerful!

Highlights of the Week

I collected a few of my personal highlights from this week’s changelog.

• Copy Cat can now copy to and from Phone fields with Advanced Phone Field enabled.
• Read Only gained +1 to GravityView. Values in read-only-enabled Checkbox fields are now correctly preserved when editing an entry with GravityView.
• All three Gravity Connect connections (Google Sheets, Notion, and OpenAI) received some fast-follow fixes this week. Related: Gravity Perks was updated to correctly grant access to the Google Sheets Connection for all eligible Gravity Perks licenses.

This week, we’ve moving onto the next video in the series that teaches you show to how you can customize the User Activation email your users receive to activate their accounts on your site.

New Snippet: Dropdown Navigation for Multi-page Forms

Do you have a form with, like, a lot of pages? And you want your users to be able to navigate to those pages quickly? Using “Steps” for your multi-page navigation can get super clunky really fast. The steps wrap and it creates a visual mudpie and a horrible UX.

This snippet can help. It converts your page steps into a dropdown. Users can open the dropdown and select the page they want to navigate to in two clicks.

The best part is it integrates seamlessly with all of Multi-page Navigation’s activation types so you can let users navigate to any page they’ve completed, all pages from the start, or any page after they’ve reached the last page.

Gravity Perks (v2.3.10)

• Fixed issue where GC Google Sheets was getting detected as a perk due to its backwards compatibility class which could then cause errors in Gravity Perks.

GP Copy Cat (v1.4.83)

• Fixed an issue where values are not copied when the target field is an Advanced Phone Field.

GP Date Time Calculator (1.0-beta-4.20)

• Fixed an issue with calculation of dates with DST.

GP Entry Blocks (1.0-beta-1.10)

• Fixed an error that could occur if using GP Entry Blocks with GP Read Only.

GP Populate Anything (v2.1.9)

• Fixed an issue where dynamically populated checkbox fields on multi-page forms could be unchecked on page navigation.

GP Read Only (v1.9.23)

• Fixed issue where List field Add/Remove buttons were visible if using the Gravity Forms Theme Framework.
• Fixed issue where selected read-only checkbox values are not preserved after editing an entry with GravityView.

Gravity Connect

GC Google Sheets (v1.3.5)

• Gravity Connect Framework: If Gravity Perks is activated, it will check for an eligible license for GC Google Sheets. If not, you can manually enter an eligible Gravity Perks license.
• Fixed issue where Google File picker did not redirect back to site properly.

GC Notion (1.0-beta-1.4)

• Gravity Connect Framework: Updated package.
• Fixed more improperly cased namespace in a method calls that could cause an error on some hosts.

GC OpenAI (1.0-beta-1.4)
