Greetings, wizards!

I’m spending a bit more time working on the business rather than in it these days, but the Gravity Wiz Weekly is something I still write by hand every week. It helps keep me connected to the real work happening in our happy little tower.

New Release: Insta-sync Bookings with Google Calendar

We got a paired release out this week for GP Bookings (Beta 2) and GC Google Calendar (1.0).

Here’s what I’m most excited about! 😃

• Instant Google Calendar sync. Your bookings show up automatically—no manual steps.
• Changes stay in sync. Reschedules, cancellations, and edits are reflected in real time.
• Your calendar blocks availability. Existing events prevent double bookings automatically.

GP Popups

You can now trigger popups based on a visitor’s country using an IP-based lookup. Want to offer a special deal to those spendy Americans? Or show a message when you don’t yet ship to Canada—and invite those visitors to join a waitlist? This makes it easy.

We’ve also added support for a delay of 0 for the “Delay” trigger. Yes, I’m aware this means there would be no delay at all but it seemed silly to add a whole new trigger type for “Instant”. Am I wrong? Tell me!
