That’s why we built Gravity Shop Product Configurator back in 2023. Yes, partially because we love cake. But mostly because we love Gravity Forms and WooCommerce behaving like one connected product-building system.
Today, this scrumptious integration turns 1.0 — with a few new toppings features to boot.
Product Configurator in a nutshell
- Gravity Forms functionality for WooCommerce products, including conditional logic, file uploads, multi-page flows, and advanced form UX.
- WooCommerce infrastructure for Gravity Forms workflows, including shipping, taxes, purchasing events, payment gateways, and reporting.
- Form entries stay linked to carts, checkouts, and completed orders as a single continuous record.
- Deep integration across both plugin ecosystems, working cleanly with most third-party plugins (including Gravity Perks and Gravity Connect 😉).
What’s new in 1.0
Add forms to multiple products at once with the new product selector. Located inside Product Configurator feeds, it lets you attach the form to individual products or to taxonomies (i.e. categories/tags) directly from Gravity Forms.
What this means:
- You can set default forms for all products of a specific type.
- All form-related configuration is now centralized.
New merge tags directly from WooCommerce’s order details. Things like the customer’s name, email, items purchased, order total, and even the transaction ID can go straight into Gravity Forms notifications and feeds.
What this means:
- Customers input data once in WooCommerce, that data is then available in Gravity Forms.
- Order information becomes available for abandoned cart flows, follow-up emails, and automation tools (e.g. tracking orders in Google Sheets).
Our wizardly seal of approval for stability. Product Configurator has passed our most daring automated tests (and three years of hands-on use cases) to earn its 1.0 badge. 🎉
