New Free Plugin: Gravity Forms Autogrow
This new plugin lets Gravity Forms Paragraph Text fields automatically expand as users type, up to a maximum height you control. Works with Rich Text Editors too!

Use this delightfully tidy plugin to make Gravity Forms Paragraph Text fields automatically expand as users type — up to a maximum height you control.
Why is that useful?
Because long-answer fields are tricky. Make them too small, and users feel cramped. Make them too big, and everyone has to scroll past a giant empty box just to finish the form.
GF Autogrow gives you the best of both worlds. Start small. Grow as needed. Keep the rest of your form within reach. 👌

Expands Paragraph Text fields automatically.
As users type, the field grows vertically to fit their content — no awkward manual resizing required.
Works with Rich Text Editing.
Using Gravity Forms’ Rich Text Editor? No problem. Autogrow supports both standard Paragraph Text fields and rich text-enabled fields.
You control the maximum height.
Set a comfortable cap using pixels or viewport height. We default to 30vh so longer responses stay readable without pushing your submit button into the abyss.
Configured per field.
Enable Autogrow only where it makes sense — feedback fields, cover letters, support requests, long-form survey questions, product descriptions, and anywhere else users may have more to say.

Plays nicely with dynamic forms.
Multi-page forms, conditional logic, and AJAX submissions are all supported. Autogrow initializes fields as soon as they appear.

Oh well, you can just ask GravityForm’s support and they will give you one of their two premade answers of choice, guaranteed 100%: “This is a plugin conflict” or “Add it to the request board” and you’ll never heard of it again!
Quick question, although I will try this myself soon…. will the field expand with GPPA-populated content?
