It’s been a whirlwind week bundling up the loose ends on our latest offering! Despite all of our experience making big moves here at Gravity Wiz, each project seems to pack its own unique surprises. And there’s always a few that don’t pop their heads up until after you launch. 😅

But it’s such a satisfying feeling to see months of work wrapped up with a tidy little bow and delivered to the world. You can’t hear me but I’m sighing contentedly as I write this. Dang, I can’t find a good emoji for that either. 😆

Resources and Services now support occupancy. 👥

If you’re not familiar, GP Bookings turns Gravity Forms into your WordPress booking platform. Schedule, manage, sync, and so much more.

So… got a cozy B&B with room for just 6 guests? A private dining room that needs at least 8 diners but can stretch to 12? Or maybe a group campsite that holds 16 campers, with an extra $10 for every camper beyond the first 4?

All possible with GP Bookings’ new Occupancy module. 🫡

Update Posts: Excerpts Included

This week (or thereabouts), we added support for updating Post Excerpts in our popular Update Posts snippet.

But that’s not the real reason I wanted to highlight this change. It’s actually because I’m so proud of the caliber of our support team. Even our non-technical support wizards find ways to add new features to our offerings. You’re legendary, Samuel. 🧙‍♂️

• Fixed an issue with count value computing incorrectly in certain payment gateway scenarios.

GP Bookings (1.0-alpha-4.0)

• Added Occupancy setting for services. Occupancy can be used for scenarios such as limiting the number of guests for a cabin and adjusting pricing accordingly.
• Improved localization of calendar in Booking Time field.
• Fixed an issue where nightly bookings persisted after disabling flexible durations.
• Fixed an issue where resource pricing type override was reset to supplement after saving.
