Gravity Wiz Weekly 226
This week, we shift focus to some of the exciting things wizards in our thriving developer ecosystem are building.
Greetings, wizards!
We’re going to something a little different today.
Rather than tell you about all the hexes we’ve broken or new spells we crafted, we’d like to share some of the magical work others in this thriving community accomplished this week.
Don’t worry, you can still view this week’s changelog to see what we were up to!
New Launch: Gravity SMTP
The mothership (what we lovingly call Gravity Forms) just launched a new product into orbit. It’s called Gravity SMTP and it’ll solve all of your email deliverability woes.
Gravity SMTP isn’t just for Gravity Forms notifications. It will confidently send all of your WordPress emails so you can spend more time leveling up your spellbook and less fielding calls from clients about password reset emails that never arrive. 😆
Here’s an overview that’ll get you up to speed.
If you’re a Gravity Perks user, this pairs beautifully with Email Users for sending filtered, personalized emails to your form submitters and Notification Scheduler for perfectly timed notifications that arrive precisely when they need to. #gandalfthegrey

GF Enhanced Choices
Imagine having complete control of the content and styling of choice-based fields. Well, I’d bet my finest wand that JetSloth’s newest plugin is better than whatever you were just imagining. 🤩
Not only can you completely customize the content of each choice, you can also control how the choice is selected, style the default and selected states uniquely, and (my personal favorite) import and export custom themes!
We’re already chatting with the JetSloth team on how we can bake in support for Populate Anything for truly dynamic choices. 🙌
GravityMerge: AI-assisted Document Automation
GravityMerge is a suite of plugins all focused on turning your Gravity Forms data into delicious automated documents. Think contracts, proposals, reports, and lesson plans!
This week, GravityMerge published an awesome tutorial about how you can use our free Gravity Forms OpenAI plugin to integrate AI into the document generation process. It even covers how to use Populate Anything to preview the AI generated content allowing users to review immediately and tweak as desired.
I think you’re gonna like this one.
Multi-Currency for Gravity Forms
The Gravity Forms community has been waiting a long time for a reliable solution for handling multiple currencies. The team at IdeaWP have come through!
I was particularly impressed with their response time when a shared customer discovered that Multi-Currency for Gravity Forms did not work with our Conditional Pricing perk. Not only did they add support for Conditional Pricing but they added support for eCommerce Fields too!
If you’re looking to support multiple currencies with Gravity Forms, give IdeaWP’s solution a try.
Product Updates
GP Advanced Select (v1.1.6)
- Internationalized “No results found.”
GP Conditional Pricing (v2.0.7)
- Added support for mapping imported rules to specific choices in choice-based Product Fields.
GP Copy Cat (v1.4.78)
- Fixed issue where a checkbox that both handles copying values and is used to show fields using Conditional Logic would not work correctly in some forms.
GP Entry Blocks (1.0-beta-1.3)
- Added
gpeb_entries_table_summary_columns
PHP filter hook. - Added
gpeb_selected_user_filters
PHP filter hook.
GP File Renamer (v1.0.7)
- Fixed issue where Filename Templates containing only
{filename}
would cause the first uploaded file to get deduplicated and include a1
at the end of the filename.
GP Google Sheets (v1.1.15)
- Added a feed conditional logic check before processing entry edit events (if “Edit rows when entries are edited” is enabled). This addresses an issue where entries could get added to sheets during delayed payment flows.
GP Inventory (1.0-beta-3.35)
- Fixed alignment of “Inv.” in the Form Editor Choices flyout for choice-based product fields with “Show Values” enabled.
GP Nested Forms (v1.1.57)
- Fixed issue where Pricing Fields in child forms would show “Pricing fields are not editable” when editing child entries in Gravity Flow contexts.
GP Populate Anything (v2.0.39)
- Fixed an issue where the wrong entry from GravityView could be populated into fields.
- Fixed issue where Live Merge Tags dependent on choices also containing LMTs would not work in some form setups.
Any news on the “populate anything” into Jetslot / enchanced options?
Also could be nice of having a slider available (range-slider like pricing etc.)
Nothing definitive yet but it’s good to know you’re interested! We’re still discussing the best integration method with Jetsloth.
