Use GP Populate Anything to find taxonomy terms for later workflow steps.
Use GP Populate Anything to find categories, tags, or terms from a custom taxonomy and return them as a collection.
Use this when a workflow needs the terms that organize WordPress content: build a category summary, find a term by slug, or process every term in a taxonomy.
With GP Populate Anything active, configure which terms to find and how to return them.

| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Limit | Sets the maximum number of terms to return. Defaults to 25 and accepts flow tags. |
| Return | Term IDs only returns summary data while For Each processes the saved collection. Choose Full terms to add the terms to items for other list-processing steps. |
| Filter Groups | Narrows the results by Taxonomy, Name, Slug, Parent Term, Post Count, term meta, or other available properties. Conditions within a group use AND; separate groups use OR. |
| Ordering | Chooses the property to sort by and the order: Ascending, Descending, or Random. |
See the GP Populate Anything documentation for all available term filters.
The step exposes Output and Error branches. Successful queries continue through Output. Matching terms are stored as a collection so For Each can load each term and expose values such as {{item.term_id}}, {{item.name}}, and {{item.slug}}.
There is no separate “no results” branch; no matches produce an empty collection and continue through Output. Set Return to Full terms when another list-processing step needs the complete list.
Find terms in a custom product_category taxonomy, labeled Product Category, for a report:
25 if the taxonomy has 25 or fewer terms. Raise it to include more terms in a larger taxonomy.{{item.name}} in the reporting step on its Each item branch.
