Node Reference Overview

A node is one step in a workflow. Start with a trigger, then connect the logic, flow, and action nodes you need.

Triggers

Node	Purpose
Form Submitted	Start when the workflow’s form creates an entry.
Schedule	Start on a recurring, one-time, or cron schedule.
Webhook Trigger	Start when an outside service calls a unique URL. Requires GC API Alchemist.
Manual	Start on demand from the builder.

Logic

Node	Purpose
Condition (entry)	Branch Yes/No using entry data.
Condition (data)	Branch Yes/No using upstream workflow values.
Switch	Take the first matching set of conditions, or Default.

Flow

Node	Purpose
Delay	Pause for a duration or until a date.
For Each	Process every item returned by a query.
Go To	Send the same run back to an earlier step, with a limit and a Gave up branch.
Wait for Payment	Pause until entry payment completes.
Wait for Approval	Pause for an approve or reject decision.
Wait for Form Submission	Pause until a matching entry is submitted.
Filter	Keep only list items that match conditions.
Deduplicate	Keep the first list item for each unique value from a chosen field.
Group By	Put list items together when they have the same value in a chosen field.
Split	Route list items into named buckets.
Format List	Turn a list into formatted text.

Actions

Node	Purpose
Get Entries	Query Gravity Forms entries.
Create Entry	Create an entry in a form.
Update Entry Field	Change fields on an entry.
Update Entry Status	Change an entry’s active, spam, or trash status.
Delete Entry	Permanently delete an entry.
Copy Entry Fields	Copy values between entries.
Add Entry Note	Add a note to an entry.
Set Entry Meta	Store custom entry metadata.
Send Notification	Send a form’s configured Gravity Forms notification.
Send Email	Send a custom email directly from Flowcrafter.
Confirmation	Set the submitter’s confirmation message.
GF Feed	Run a Gravity Forms add-on feed.
HTTP Request	Call an external API.
OpenAI Text / OpenAI Image	Generate text or an image with GC OpenAI.
PHP Code	Run trusted custom PHP.
